Detailed 5-Day Itinerary: Manu Reserved Zone Expedition
Day 1: The Gateway to the Amazon (Cusco to Cloud Forest)
Our journey begins with a scenic drive from Cusco into the Andes. We’ll stop at the ancient Ninamarca pre-Inca burial towers and the colonial town of Paucartambo.
- The Descent: We enter the lush Cloud Forest, where we’ll observe the ritual dance of the Cock-of-the-Rock (Peru’s national bird) and search for Woolly Monkeys.
