Location and Access to Tambopata

It is located south of the Madre de Dios River, near Puerto Maldonado, the capital of the Madre de Dios department. It is accessible via daily flights from Lima or Cusco to Puerto Maldonado.

Our Tourguide Demetrios was very well educated in what he knew and told us a lot of useful knowledge about the depth of the Rainforest. We always had some great meals from our cook Flora and our Boatdrivers drove us with excellence through the River.

I really can recommend the Tours to anyone who wants to get a deeper knowledge and physical adventure of and in the Amazon rainforest.
